Art On Demand

There is a certain fantastic artist out there who has asked to see more of my scribblings.... soooooooo, here are a few more of the things that I have been working on.

A house in Lisboa that is very representative of the old neighborhood called Alfama. It is the only part of the city that wasn't destroyed by the earthquake in 1755. It maintains the same TINY streets, narrow walkways and stone buildings. There is always laundry out to dry.

This is Sé de Lisboa (Lisbon's Cathedral). You'll notice that it bares a striking resemblance to Notre Dame (minus the gargoyles)! Even so, it is lovely in evening light, as it glows a warm yellow again the dark clouds behind it.

This is Igreja do Idlefonso, here in Porto. I honestly don't really like this one... it just looks off, but it is how it looks, so it's a conundrum. It's quite representatie of the churches I have seen on the continent, with the beautiful decorative blue tile.

This last one if the the Igreja e Torre dos Clerigos. A famous structure that stands 6 stories tall, and at the time that it was built, was the tallest things standing. It is pretty much an icon of the city of Porto.
