Iceland, Days 1 and 2

Ok, so technically what I´m doing now doesn´t count as my "Taking the Plunge" trip, but hopefully it will be just as amusing and interesting as my previous posts.

So I´m back into the daily grind of life in Boston:  wake up, work, (maybe gym), eat, back to bed and do it again the next day.  For April vacation, though, my mom and I decided to splurge. She cashed in some frequent flyer miles, and off we set for Iceland for a week.    Now we´ve been here for two days and two nights, and we´ve gotten a lot of sights under our belt.  We´ve seen glaciers, and geysers, and snowy peaks....  sunsets that last for hours and wind that is so cold your eyes tear uncontrollably.  We´ve eaten delicious fish soup, smoked trout, and a local favoite of chocolate coated licorice.  Though more details will follow, for now here´s something to wet your appetite.
