Mission

I started traveling on my own when I was 15, and my desire to see more of the world increases with every trip I take. I created this blog to be able to share my experiences with loved ones as well as with fellow travelers.

My travel philosophy is to really get to know a place, so I tend to "do less" by others' standards, but I gain a lot in terms of the feel of the place. I also backpack, meaning I prefer authentic and affordable to comfortable. Lastly, I usually participate in some sort of conservation effort wherever I am.

Hopefully this gives you an idea of what this is all about. I really hope you enjoy reading, and please do not be afraid to write me with questions, comments, ideas, suggestions, etc.
